This was a Salma Jabbour special, arranged primarily for Joe Cote’s study group on American Presidential Elections. However, there were plenty of extra seats, it was a beautiful spring day – just a tad chilly – and the docent was terrific, as was the lunch at the Concord Inn. While the pictures focus on the walking part of the tour, the bus tour included pauses at several historic spots, including the homes of literary figures: Ralph Waldo Emerson, Henry David Thoreau, Nathaniel Hawthorne, and Louisa May Alcott.
