Elsewhere on this website it is written that The Second Half “classes are small and informal, providing an atmosphere where ideas are freely exchanged and debated, as well as the time to reflect upon the discussions and experiences of others. The Second Half is an ideal vehicle for sharing life experiences, exploring unfamiliar and interesting ideas and issues, and better understanding a changing world and your place in it.” Walk into any study group and you can see those ideals come to life in the faces, the body language, the thoughts and words of study group members. In this case I was watching – and biting my tongue because it was really hard to stay out of such a fascinating conversation. The study group? Bob Miller’s “Political Polarization 1.”
