On May 27, 2015, at the Annual Meeting, members will be asked to accept revised by-laws for the organization.
The following are the major changes made in the original by-laws:
- The fiscal year ends on June 30.
- The Board of Directors may take electronic votes and hold meetings by conference call or online.
- Officers and directors are indemnified from liability for their good faith actions on behalf of the organization.
- The Publicity Committee has been renamed the Communications Committee with an emphasis on electronic communications, for example, the web site and Facebook.
