Members wanted to do something for Beverly Stevens after her seven years of service to The Second Half – she retired this summer as executive director and was replaced by Roberta Melton – so they decided to give her a “little” surprise at the Open House. There were about 150 attendees, and as registration officially opened, lots of people registered for the 37 study groups being offered this fall. Everyone also had the opportunity to hear from nearly all the study group leaders.
