THE PHOTOGRAPHER’S EYE – LOOK BEFORE YOU SHOOT

This Workshop will consist of two/2 Hour Sessions: Wednesday October 31st, 9:30am – 11:30am  And Wednesday November 7th, 9:30am – 11:30am.                                                  The cost for the 2 day workshop is $25.00

Photography is more than just pushing the shutter release button on your camera. NO matter what type of photographs you enjoy taking , seeing and composing before you shoot is the best way to end up with the image that you want. This workshop will guide participants towards seeing before they photograph. There will be explanations, exercises visuals and class discussions to help you take that next step as a photographer.

“No longer is a camera taking pictures for me, I am using the camera to take the pictures I first feel and then see. It is, for me, about authenticity” – David Pinkham

NOTE: The workshop is for photographers with a working knowledge of their camera. It is not a workshop for beginners or for those using point/shoot cameras or smart phones. Please bring your digital cameras to class for each session.

David is the owner of DS Pinkham Photography. He is currently teaching photography workshops throughout in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. He is a member of Newport Art Museum, Rhode Island Center for Photographic Art, Providence Art Club He has had exhibits at Blithewold , Bristol Art Museum, Newport Art Museum, Peter Miller Fine Art Photography Galey and more.

TO REGISTER FOR THIS WORKSHOP – Please contact Roberta as soon as possible by email office@secondhalflli.org or phone (508) 677-4694. This is a rare opportunity to learn from a passionate and talents photographer.
